David Santuchi has had several careers and never worked a job he hasn't loved. Starting with CNN out of college he quickly found a job working in environmental news and then as a CNN correspondent for NASA. He is now the director of communications at the Georgia Aquarium where he tries to dive with the sea life at least once a month.. He speaks about finding his passion at a time in his life when he need it most. Last summer 4 recent college graduates, discouraged by their professional experience out of school, set out on a cross country road trip to find answers. 16,000 miles, 100 days and 200 interviews later, this documentary chronicles their experience Pursuing the Passion. Brett Farmiloe and Zach Hubbell of PTP will be speaking at the Arizona State SHRM conference this Tuesday, telling their story and the steps they learned to achieve ones passion. They decided to use their layover to find out what the more experienced think of business travel. Students will be going out and conducting interviews with professionals in fields they're interested in. On April 30th the Jobing Foundation will be presenting Experience Your Future Day, a hands on career experience for 7,000 8th graders in the Phoenix area. 8th graders from the Ward Traditional Academy, here in the valley, speak about what they would like to do when they grow up and their questions surrounding those ambitions. Leon Young has spent the entirety of his professional career working with one organization. Starting as a night security guard he proceeded to learn all facets of "hospitality 101" while working for Starwood Hotels. His tenure with the company also allowed him to become an authority on the culture and processes of his organization. He now works as a GM for the company he started with over 20 years ago.
