Blog Post: Are you "Young"?

I represent the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN) of Phoenix. Many people have asked us what our definition of young is and how we regulate our membership. Many similar groups use age constraints like 18-35, inferring that one is kicked out upon their 35th birthday. Others, like ours, embrace those who are young in experience and those who are committed to supporting young professionals.

The word young may have weak associations for some. For us is it a powerful word that conveys the passion and capacity of the next generation to make a positive impact on our world. That is our movement, to support the next generation of leaders through social and professional networking.
