NLC Study Session - Monday, June 16th
Each year, the Arizona chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) sends a delegation to represent our state at the FBLA National Leadership Conference. This year's conference, is Atlanta, is no exception. For a high school student to have the privilege of attending this conference, they must place in the tip two of their respective event at our State Conference. Each year, we bring together business and community leaders to help prepare out students to compete at the nation level. You can help us in this endeavor! Please consider sharing your time and talents with the future leaders of our state and nation by attending the 2008 National Leadership Conference Study Session.
What is it?- As a business or community leader, you will be teamed up with FBLA members that are eager to learn real-world tips from YOU! Our members compete in events like: Public Speaking, Impromptu Speaking, Job Interview, Emerging Business Issues, Entrepreneurship, and Network Design - to name a few. You will spend 2-3hous with the members as you critique their presentations, provide suggestions, and serve as a mentor for these future leaders. All the information that you need will be sent to you ahead of time. Please review it before attending and follow our suggested guidelines for the day. That is it! By sharing a day with our members, you could help give them an edge - not only at the National Conference, but in their future as well.
Location - Grand Canyon University (GCU) - 3300 W. Camelback Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85017.
Time - We will begin at 10:00am. Lunch will be served at 12:00pm and we will continue until roughly 2:00pm
When you get to GCU - We are meeting in the Ken Blanchard School of Business. Park anywhere in that area and follow the FBLA signs.
