Blog Post: Jobing.com's Featured Partner of the Week, Alliance of Technology and Women

This week Jobing.com hosted the monthly meeting of the Alliance of Technology and Women.  Besides having one of the largest turnouts for their monthly meeting,  all gathered to hear Alliance of Technology and Women's own Carol LeMaster talk about her experiences in China while participating in the 2nd Annual Women's Symposium & Study Program with Chinese Urban, University and Rural Women.  It was an exciting time and Jobing.com is proud to have hosted the event for its technology partner.

The partnership with ATW is a great example of how it provides an online community foundation in a specific industry area.  Several members of the group were in need of employment and it provided us an opportunity to showcase the career center on the ATW website that is hosted by Jobing.com.  The job board represents an avenue to better connect specific local job seekers with local employers.

The goals of ATW:

EDUCATE: ATW will educate members on technology and management trends, and offer personal and professional development

CONNECT: ATW will provide opportunities for women to connect with fellow professionals and build relationships and alliances with business leaders

MENTOR: ATW will host programs for members and young women  to access positive role models in technology fields.
