Blog Post: Laying people off is difficult

Today, I had the unpleasant task of laying off an internal employee due to the economy.  She has two kids and little education, but she was reliable, nice and loyal.  I get agitated because the government can’t run on a budget like the rest of us.  So…we have to let people go, cut expenses etc…so we can bailout some of the stupidest people in the world.  I know it will get better but I don’t feel any better about the decision I am forced to make.
