Blog Post: Live, learn and network with the Maroon & Gold Professionals this month

Let’s face it—the job market is tough in Phoenix right now. Job seekers need every advantage they can get. ASU graduates will have two “inside track” opportunities this month to expand their personal and business networks at Alumni Association events presented by the Maroon & Gold Professionals group.

On Wednesday, Sept. 16, the monthly Maroon and Gold Professionals Mixer will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Pier 54, 5394 S. Lakeshore Dr., Tempe. This popular event draws scores of Sun Devils from all walks of life. The event is $10 for current members of the Alumni Association and $20 for non-members.

Then, on Wednesday, Sept. 30, the Alumni Association will launch its Maroon and Gold Professionals Luncheon series. The inaugural event will feature a “Real Estate Outlook” for the Valley of the Sun, provided by Jay Q. Butler, ASU’s director of realty studies. The luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at ASU Karsten Golf Course, 1125 E. Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe. The event will cost Alumni Association members $20 and non-members will pay $25.
