Automated Manufacturing Systems (AMS) prepares students for employment as production supervisors, technicians, and managers in the manufacturing industry. The AMS program is designed to meet the needs of today's high-tech industry by providing trained individuals who can immediately become an asset to a company's operations. Demand is on the rise as companies move towards complete automation.
Providing training in operations, instrumentation, equipment maintenance, manufacturing processes, and future needs of the manufacturing industry. Students are exposed to a broad spectrum of automated manufacturing information and skills which opens up job opportunities in various industries. Students from our program learn the programming, installation, and troubleshooting of automated equipment using state-of-the-art tools and software. Students will be proficient in the area of robotic systems, Vacuums, Programmable logic controllers, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Digital systems, Electronics, Sensors, CIM, Traditional, and semiconductor processes. This latest technology knowledge coupled with hands-on experience is very important for a successful career in Arizona ’s highly automated manufacturing industry.
