Blog Post: Volunteer Opportunities
posted Wednesday, September 26, 2007 4:45 PM
The other day I wrote about Volunteer Opportunities with the City of Tempe and the Tempe Public Library's Volunteer Fair.
A variety of Volunteer Opportunities are also available with Scottsdale Job Network. These Volunteer Opportunities include the following SJN Committees: Programs: Works with the Executive Director to develop, schedule and coordinator SJN meetings and workshops. Meeting Operations: Ensures efficient and effective bi-monthly meetings by lining up volunteers for hospitality and meeting facilitation. Membership: Attracts new members to SJN, serves as Yahoo Group moderators, and supports alumni initiatives. Marketing: Promotes SJN activities within the organization and in the community. Defines and develops potential alliances that benefit SJN. Curriculum: Career Coaches, HR and senior business professionals work together to develop the content of the SJN 7-Step Job Transition Process, SJN’s core curriculum (under development). Administration: Work directly with Executive Director on various administrative tasks. Please let us know if you can help by writing to info@scottsdalejobnet.com or by speaking to Chris Vicari, or one of the Board members. Thank you, Community Comments
