I recently worked for a company for 4 months. They recently closed their doors. They first closed two plants and layed off 300 people then three weeks later called all 550 remaining employees together and said they did not obtain additional financing. They were a private company individual and instituitionally funded.
What and how would I list this on my resume???

I worked for a great company that was bought out by a bigger company unto which closing of sister sites started to occur. I assited in the closing of three sites until I decided that this job was no longer for me. I have since applied to over 40 jobs on jobbing.com. I have noticed that some companies post either different discreptions (pay, full time - part time, etc.) on their site compared to jobbing's. I see a lot of companies advertising but I have yet to get a solid real offer. What else would you recommend as I have been out of work for over 2 1/2 months.

Hello Greta *

Is there any chance of me getting a government job? I am a retired government employee and would like to have return rights.

Thanks
Arlene
