Blog Post: Jobing.com Welcomes AIFC as one of its new Community Partners! / Conference Announced
posted Thursday, March 13, 2008 6:13 PM
I am happy to announce that on March 14th, that friendship was formalized into a formal partnership between Jobing.com and AIFC. This partnership will provide an invaluable link to the agricultural industry. The Arizona Interagency Farmworker Coalition (AIFC) is a non-profit social service-based organization founded in 1991. The AIFC was formed in response to a vast need to coordinate fragmented services from multidisciplinary service agencies and organizations. The AIFC's primary purpose is to identify Arizona farm worker's social service needs and to establish the initial frame work between the farm worker and the service agency fulfilling that social service need. The farm workers working and living conditions are directly affected by various policies, including employment, free trade, health care, immigration, low-income housing, workers protection standards and various other factors specific to the farm working community. Consequently, AIFC advocates on behalf of this vulnerable and vital component of our society. I invite you to visit the AIFC website at www.aifc.org. Additionally, the AIFC has announced its 13th Annual Conference to be held at the beautiful Esplendor Resort in Rio Rico, Arizona, April 8th-10th. April 8th (2:00pm-5:00pm): Opening ceremonies followed by concurrent sessions; Welcome Reception 6:30pm-9:30pm.
