About Us

Rehabilitation Care: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy

A state-of-the-art rehabilitation clinic at Palm Valley offers a variety of therapeutic services provided by on-site, licensed Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists.  Individualized programs for patients result in optimal outcomes.  We have both inpatient rehab services as well as outpatient therapy to provide for continuity of care once they are discharged from the facility.  Palm Valley physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapists are all in house employees whom know our residents and have been here for a long time.  If a resident is readmitted at any time, our therapy staff knows them and their history.

Care Center:

We provide outstanding services to our long term/extended care family.  Providing an environment of caring and love so that our residents feel at home at all times.  Palm Valley offers IV therapy, post operative recovery care, pain management, restorative therapy, diabetic care, wound management, enteral care, tracheotomy care, infusion therapy and respiratory therapy.  Our licensed, registered nurses are on duty 24 hours per day and in-house restorative nursing services assist with the therapy programs.

Pain Management
Pain is the fifth vital sign and we believe that having good pain management increases quality of life and renewed interest in wellness and life itself.

Respite Stay Care
We offer respite services to families who need to get away to care for themselves and for families whose primary caregiver may be hospitalized.  This offers families a “worry free” vacation or to be able to concentrate on the acute illness of another loved one.

Hospice
End of Life care is very important to the staff at Palm Valley.  We believe that those nearing the end of life deserve all the comfort and dignity that we can provide them.  We offer chaplain care and comfort activities that include music, lotion, prayer and support.

Memory Care
Specialized care program in a secured environment dedicated to our residents with memory loss from a dementia-related disorder.  This unique unit is specifically designed for each resident’s needs.  Our staff is specially trained on a weekly basis by our clinical psychologist, Dr. Gary Martin. 

Behavioral Care
We have a special program for the behaviorally challenged.  Dr. Martin over sees this unit by identifying, monitoring and modifying behaviors that have been difficult to manage in the community.  The staff is trained on a weekly basis by Dr. Martin.  This is a secured environment.
