About Us
Since its inception in 2000 People of Color Network (PCN) adopted three operating principles:
~ Provide quality, culturally, and linguistically appropriate services to consumers.
~ Become a force in Maricopa County and Arizona through strong advocacy for people of color communities.
~ Strengthen partner agencies through collaboration.
The Beginning
Three provider agencies originally partnered with PCN to serve families in Maricopa County. Although some of the players have changed since our beginning, current partners—Centro de Amistad, Chicanos por la Causa, and Ebony House— continue to deliver behavioral health services to these families. Partner agencies like Friendly House and Native American Connections also serve Latino and Native American communities with social services and programs.
Families & Communities
PCN collaborates with community organizations to educate families in making informed decisions about services that meet their needs and to become their own best advocates.
Agency Support
PCN supports partners in developing infrastructure and attaining administrative and operational growth by offering leadership, advisors, promoters, technical, and financial support.
