Profile: Planned Parenthood Arizona

Our mission at Planned Parenthood of Central and Northern Arizona (PPCNA) is to promote strong families, planned, wanted children, and sexual health for all. PPCNA is one of 125 separately incorporated affiliates of the national Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), with a local Board of Directors that is responsible for identifying local needs and opportunities, and securing necessary financial resources. We operate 17 health centers; 13 in Maricopa County and one in the communities of Flagstaff, Globe, Prescott and Yuma. We also engage community volunteers and political advocates from throughout the area. All told, we pursue our ambitions thanks to the labors of over 250 volunteers and a staff of 180.

Increase awareness and appeal of PPCNA's mission and activities among prospective health care and information consumers, activists, policy makers, donors and allied organizations.

Increase PPCNA's capacity to protect the right and access to reproductive information and health care by strengthening the agency's financial health.

Improve PPCNA's efficiency, flexibility and quality of decision-making and operations through investment in people, systems and technology.
