Profile: Staffing Management Association of Greater Phoenix

The Staffing Management Society of Greater Phoenix (formerly Employment Management Association) was founded in 1990 to help better serve the educational and professional networking needs of Valley employment professionals and service providers. SMA was a Professional Interest Group of SHRM until 2004.  At that time, SHRM made the decision to roll all members of SMA into its general membership, providing all of the same resources to every member of the national organization at no additional cost.  This means that SMA membership is free to SHRM members. 

SMA will still offer you a wealth of knowledge and information to help you gain a fresh perspective on your career and help us all advance the employment profession.

The purpose of SMA is to add value to the employment process through education, innovation and the identification of technology advances and best practices in the field; and to provide a global forum for the better understanding of employment issues through:

There are no annual dues or fees to join the Arizona Region of the SMA. Meetings are held bi-monthly. Registration fees are $15 for SMA members, $25 for non-SMA members, and FREE for student SHRM members.
