Profile: Arizona Petroleum Marketers Association

It is the goal of Western Petroleum Marketers Association to provide services to members, and to represent members in a way that will preserve the independent petroleum marketer segment within the industry by supporting fair practices and promoting a system of free, competitive enterprise.

WPMA acts as the head office for the marketers and member states. The services provided by the head office include mailings, magazine, annual convention, dues billing, accounting, and other member services.

The WPMA Board consists of the Executive Committee: President, Three Vice Presidents, a Senior PMAA Director, the immediate Past President and Executive Director, and three representatives from each state association.

The following objectives are to support the mission statement.

    * Continue to provide the best convention available for those involved in our industry
    * Advise and educate the membership to effectively and profitably operate their business
    * Provide opportunities for networking
    * Promote a positive image and high integrity of the industry
