Profile: Mutual Management Services

Mutual Management Services began operations in 1975 for the purpose of managing the affairs of Homeowners Associations. The principal, Katherine Bruggeman, is a Certified Public Accountant and holds advanced degrees in business related areas. In addition, she has been directly involved in the areas of real estate and property management for many years.

            Our company hires only highly qualified community managers. We continuously monitor all activities to ensure that managers have adequate staff support and time to devote to their properties. We strive to secure quality independent and professional services which are both efficient and economical for all Associations. The community manager's primary job is to make the job of each Board member easier.

We provide continuous education for all our employees so that they are kept informed of the many changes occurring within this industry. Our computer system and capabilities are in-line with current standards, and our office staff is cross-trained to assist and support one another. We are proud of our team approach as we strive to meet the needs of our homeowners.

All staff members have voice mail so that Board Members and homeowners can leave detailed messages at any time of the day or evening. After-hours emergencies are met by our answering service, who then contacts an on-call staff member to address their needs.  A qualified Mutual Management staff member is on call at all times. 

            Mutual Management Services believes that communication with the Association Board and its members is vital to the health of a community.  We are dedicated to ensuring that Association Board Members are equipped with the tools necessary to review the activity of the Association and to make good business decisions.

Mutual Management Services is an active member of Community Association Institute, the non profit organization that serves to educate homeowners, Board members, related professionals, etc. Katherine Bruggeman is often a speaker or facilitator at various education events. In addition, Mutual Management is an active member of other professional organizations in the Valley.
