JAG Model programs are designed to identify students who possess a significant number of barriers to stay in school, complete a high school diploma, secure an entry level quality job that leads to a career, and/or pursue a postsecondary education. JAG-Arizona Specialists, who work with 35-45 in-school students in grades 9 to 12, characterize a highly accountable program.

Jobs for Arizona’s Graduates (JAG) is a non-profit since 1990 that partners with school districts, the business community, the public sector and other non-profits to support and assure success of our mission.  Jobs for Arizona ’s Graduates is an affiliate of Jobs for America’s Graduates.

JAG's mission is to help young people stay in school and to acquire the academic, personal, leadership and vocational skills they need to be succesful upon graduation. Our mission is accomplished through our three applications:

-School-to-Career Transition (Senior Program)
-Opportunity Awareness (Multi-Year Dropout Prevention program, Grades 9-11)
-Aspire (City of Phoenix WIA Case Management Intervention)

Currently, through 20 programs across the state. JAG students receive instruction, in classroom-based environment, in areas such as Job Attainment, Job Survival, Basic Skills, Leadership and Self Development that will prepare then for survival in life and the workplace. 
   
The JAG curriculumn is skill based and aligned with both the Arizona Academic and Workplace Standards. Our students demonstrate mastery of these skill through the development of career path, job attainment and personal growth portfolios, research papers, oral presentations and the completion Career Association Projects. 

JAG SUCCESS 
  During 2006-2007 youth receiving JAG services 
  -Gave back more than 6600 hours of service to their communities, an average of 11 hours per student 
  -96% graduated or remained enrolled in school 
  -5.5% increase in school attendance 
  -62% of all JAG students increased their GPA's
