PRIMARY PURPOSE:
• To provide clerical assistance to any department needing support on a temporary, scheduled basis; performing a variety of support and clerical tasks. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of worked performed by employees within this classification. It is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of duties, responsibilities and qualification required of employee assigned to this job. • Performs data entry and filing duties for departments requesting this service on a temporary basis. • Performs errands such as handling motor vehicle registrations of donated vehicles. • Acts as primary backup to the receptionists including mail processing/handling. • Provides clerical support by typing, data entry, filing, collating, sorting, etc., using appropriate software programs. • Orders supplies for departments as needed/requested. • Copies and distributes materials as requested. • Receives and sends facsimiles as requested. • Assists in all departments as assigned. • Specific duties will be defined at time of hire. Skills / Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Facility with basic Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook. • File management skills. • Must have either prior experience in a clerical/administrative support role or equivalent education. • Experience or aptitude working with a multi-line phone system helpful • Must be able to pass a pre employment drug-screening exam. SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: • Ability to work for multiple supervisors. • Must be detail oriented and have good time management skills. • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Must exhibit professionalism in manner, dress and grooming. • Ability to strictly maintain confidentiality. • Must be able to complete assignments and perform duties independent of direct supervision. Pay: $11.50 to $13.00/hour
