Job: IT Programmer Analyst

Goodwill of Central Arizona Information Technology department currently has an opening for a Programmer Analyst / Software Engineer. We are enhancing and expanding our use of open source applications in the enterprise. This position will be focused on web development for database driven applications and will include work with the open source community to develop enterprise class open source software for Goodwill.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Extensive experience with SQL and relational databases.
* Extensive knowledge and experience with PHP , HTML, Javascript, and web programming
* Some experience with Python and or Ruby.
* Knowledge and experience with Linux servers.
* Experience with Java, JSP, tomcat a plus
* Some knowledge and experience of Microsoft ASP and / or .Net
* Experience with open source software and open source projects
* Some experience with UML and object oriented design
* BS in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Develops and maintains applications and software for Intranet based enterprise applications.
* Works with other departments on defining and documenting software requirements and creating specifications.
* Prepares diagrams, flow charts and software design documentation
* Detects and repairs errors in data and program structure, logic and coding.
* Writes clear and concise programming documentation.
* Compiles, organizes, analyzes and presents statistical and technical data.
