Job: Lead Pharmacist

Health Care Facility look to add a Lead Pharmacist to their team!

Under the direction of the Pharmacy Director, the pharmacy manger:

* Coordinates the scheduling and efforts of Pharmacists and/or Pharmacy Techs.
* Mentors new and less experienced staff and students. Uses policy and procedure manuals and other reference material to ensure proper course of action.
* Provides consultative services to medical nursing and pharmacy staff. Interprets physician medication orders for appropriateness.
* Acts as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff and ancillary department personnel.
* Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patient care by performing the related duties.

*** 2-5 years experience required ( 2 years acute care)
*** Minimum education - Doctoral
