Coaching & Incentives Team Position Do you want to help improve the quality of Arizona’s early care and education community? In a collaboration with Valley of the Sun United Way, Southwest Human Development, and Central Arizona College, the Association for Supportive Child Care is offering coaching services for a new and exciting early child care rating system across the state. The Quality First! Coach provides on-site assets based coaching and consultation to early care and education programs enrolled in the Quality First! Improvement rating system. Candidates must have direct service experience in child care. Responsiblities include mentoring teachers, providers, administrators, and owners as well as providing training as needed to each site. The position requires travel throughout Yavapai, Coconino, Navajo, and Apache Counties. There are several positions available including one on the Navajo Reservation. Candidates applying for that position must have prior experience working with Tribal programs. Skills / Requirements
* Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in education, child or family development, social services or related field.
* Minimum of two years experience working as a teacher, trainer, or primary care provider in an early care and education setting with infants, toddlers and/or preschoolers preferably in early care and education settings. * Statewide travel may be required. * Experience working with Tribal Communities preferred. * English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
