Job: Security Guard (night shift)

Dr. A.J. Chandler built the Hotel San Marcos and Golf Course in 1913. The resort was designed to be a luxurious desert retreat for the rich and famous. It catered to celebrities, business magnates, gangsters, athletes, and artists from around the world.

Now called the San Marcos Golf Resort and Conference Center, it was awarded National Landmark Status. The resort is on the National Register of Historic Places and continues the tradition of outstanding service to its guests.

We are seeking an experienced Security Guard for our high volume conference resort.
This position is a night shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Investigate all safety and security issues
· Patrol all areas of the hotel
· Respond to all emergency situations
· Administer first aid to injured guests and associates
· Enforce hotel policies and procedures
· Assist guests as needed

Qualifications:
* Ability to work night shift
· High school diploma or GED equivalent
· Valid Drivers license, minimum 21 years of age, Clean MVR, must pass drug screening and criminal background check
· CPR certification preferred
· Security/law enforcement experience preferred
· Ability to communicate effectively with public and associates
