Job: Outpatient Counselor/Behavioral Health Professionals

Community Bridges is one of the largest providers of substance abuse/behavioral health treatment in Arizona. We currently have openings for full time and contract positions in our outpatient programs located in Phoenix, Glendale, and Gilbert.

Outpatient Clinicians are responsible for ensuring, with the assistance of other treatment team members, that each participant is provided the services necessary to achieve the goals of treatment as outlined in his/her individualized treatment plan by providing counseling services based on best practices models to include group, individual, and family formats. Community Bridges Outpatient Clinicians work within a multidisciplinary team made up of Addictionologists, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals, and Peer Support Specialists.

Each Outpatient site offers an array of behavioral health services which includes working with adolescents, criminal justice populations, mental health, opiate based treatment, homeless populations, gender specific treatment, methamphetamine specific treatment, and general substance abuse/mental health groups. Community Bridges is a state wide provider of behavioral health services and offers clinicians an opportunity for growth within a fast paced and growing agency.

Candidates must hold a masters degree or higher as well as a current associate or independent level of licensure with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE) in the discipline of counseling, social work, and/or marriage and family counseling.

New graduates with a masters degree in counseling or social work who have recently applied for their license, or are in the process of applying, are also strongly encouraged to apply for employment.
