Job: IT Desktop Support / Help Desk Technician

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician in our IT Department for our Phoenix and Tempe facilities to work with our internal technical infrastructure. The individual will be responsible for first level support for users, ensure currency of information and provide troubleshooting and installation as needed.

Specifically, this individual must be able to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot the following:

Cisco Switches, Hubs, & Routers, and other relayed networking hardware and cabling;

Microsoft Exchange Products and Microsoft Office Products;

Servers using Windows 2000 and 2003 Operating Systems, and proficiency in the setup and maintenance of RAID Arrays;

Desktops, Workstations, & Laptops, using Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and 7 Operating Systems;

Network Laser, Multifunction, Inkjet, Barcode, & Dot Matrix Printers, Scanners, and Fax;

Wireless Networking;

Anti-Virus Software and System Utility Software such as Defragmentation and Optimization;

Various Security Systems maintenance, including cameras and security monitoring devices;

Familiarity with various VPN systems and Remote Desktop setup;

Familiarity with Inter-Tel Axxess PBX Telephone System is a plus;

College program training or certificate and/or 3-5 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, including customer service. Strong knowledge of PC Systems, Tools, and Applications.

Detailed knowledge of Windows and Microsoft applications. Ability to respond to common technical inquiries from internal users and the ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
