Compensation & Benefits Analyst
Phoenix, Arizona This is an outstanding career opportunity for an experienced Compensation & Benefit Analyst to assist with compensation and benefit program preparation and implementation within this leading non-profit organization. About The Position… In this fast paced and challenging position, the Compensation & Benefits Analyst will be responsible for… • Performing job analysis, writing job descriptions, assigning job codes and recommending salary grade assignments using market survey data and point factor software. • Assisting in the research and development of the annual compensation program (e.g., policy/procedure changes, salary structure adjustments, and merit budget proposal). Utilizing compensation planning database to assist with the process, including downloading data from HRIS system, performing system set-up and report generation. • Assisting in the implementation and administration of the annual merit and compensation program. • Assisting with the development and coordinating the administration of system-wide benefit programs including but not limited to health care, retirement, time off, life, disability, and voluntary benefits. • Assisting with the development and coordinating of retirement, pension and savings programs. • Assisting with the development of a system wide wellness program. • Assisting with researching and monitoring competitiveness of current compensation and benefit programs and legislative requirements. Recommending changes as appropriate. • Developing compensation and benefits related communications. • Serving as HIPPA Privacy Coordinator for the organization. Remaining knowledgeable and ensuring compliance with Privacy regulations. • Coordinating the revisions, preparation and distribution of the annual Total Rewards Statement. Developing and preparing communications for the annual benefit open enrollment program. • Performing systems testing while complying with the change control guidelines. To be immediately and seriously considered for this amazing opportunity, the Compensation & Benefits Analyst must have the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in related area or equivalent combination of education and experience in compensation and or benefits required. • Familiarity with applicable state and federal wage and hour regulations and benefits related regulations (e.g. FLSA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, etc.) • Three years human resources experience. • Strong verbal and communication skills. • Excellent analytical, statistical, personal organization and problem-solving skills • Must maintain confidentiality • Proficient computer skills, including intermediate level spreadsheet application ability.
