Job: Behavioral Therapist - THERAPEUTIC TREATMENT HOMES

Touchstone Behavioral Health is the premier provider of evidence based behavioral health services to youth and their families in the Southwest.

We have an immediate opening for a THERAPIST to provide therapeutic treatment to children and families in the least restrictive and intrusive manner via referrals from schools, as well as to initiate, schedule, and complete intakes for Touchstone's School Based Services.

Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Conducting assessments on youth entering into Therapeutic Foster Care.
2. Providing therapy utilizing Best Practices.
3. Participating in Child and Family Teams and complying with Arizona Practice Model service delivery.
4. Discharging or transfering clients when appropriate treatment is completed.
5. Communicating with other departments to improve quality of care (case managers, physicians, other agencies, etc).
6. Responding to crisis in a timely and effective manner and providing back-up crisis intervention.
7. Participating in multidisciplinary treatment planning process.
8. Training peers and prospective foster parents in the MAPP or HCTC curriculum after completing certification.

Qualified candidates will have a strong understanding of and be able to apply the Arizona Practice Model.

Must be at least 21 years of age. Requires a Master’s Degree in Counseling or related field and at least 2 years practical experience in child/adolescent behavioral health. Prefer licensure with the Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and experience with foster care
