BILLING AND CODING/HEALTH INFORMATION INSTRUCTOR

Description

Accredited college looking for someone well rounded within the scope of medical administration to teach in the Health Information Technology Program. This individual will possess at least 2 years of experience in medical billing, ICD-9-CM and CPT coding, reimbursement and record documentation. This individual will provide guidance as a mentor in this field.

Certification in coding (CPC, CCA, CCS, RHIA, RHIT) is preferred but not required. Teaching experience is not needed. Training will be provided.

Professional appearance and excellent communication skills a must. Hours are 5:00pm to 11:00 P.M. Monday through Thursday. Salary is commensurate with education and experience
