Job: Bindery Folder Operator (Contract/Temporary)

We are currently seeking a Bindery Folder Operator

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Process jobs per specifications with consistent, acceptable quality and ensure same day shipment. Work overtime as required. Perform any and all duties deemed necessary by management.


Production Goals/Standards to Meet:
Ensure all orders are accurately processed and shipped same day.


Essential functions of the job (in order of importance):
1. Setup and operate pile folder, booklet maker, cutter, and any other equipment needed to ensure same day ship.
2. Assist in training others to operate bindery equipment.
3. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
4. Follow all safety rules
5. Physical work, heavy lifting, 50 pounds or more, and 100% standing.
6. Work in a production environment with potentially hazardous materials.


Requirements:
Education: High School diploma or Equivalent.
Experiences (work or education): Min 3-years setup and operating a pile folder in a commercial environment.
Characteristics: Maintain a positive attitude, able to work within a group, be a self-starter, and production minded.
Skills Needed: Excellent skills in communications and math. Needs to read rulers and tape measures and have above average mechanical aptitude.

Equipment Requirements: Routine bindery equipment.
