Position is for an On Call social worker to split time between a telemetry area and observation unit which are both adult populations. Position requires a masters degree in social work (MSW) and a social work license from the AZ Board of Behavioral Health. Primary job responsibilities are discharge planning, crisis intervention, and education. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple timelines and agendas will be key to being successful. Previous hospital/medical experience required either in post masters experience or as part of a supervised internship.

Provides psychosocial assessment, discharge planning/coordination, community referrals, crisis intervention and supportive counseling.

Educational Requirements:
Masters degree in Social Work (MSW)
