Overview: Banner Health, Arizona's largest healthcare provider has an opportunity for an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Service Equipment Tech - II. This position will be a part of the Banner Health Arizona Diagnostic Imaging Team in Phoenix, AZ region. Will include coverage for the performance and scheduled & unscheduled maintenance service for the cardio-vascular diagnostic imaging technologies in addition to general diagnostic imaging technologies throughout the Banner Health AZ geography. Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the preventive maintenance, calibration, electrical safety and performance verification, and bench and field service repair on all medical imaging equipment, medical imaging systems and related apparatus with minimal assistance or direct supervision. Assists in equipment installations/project work with senior level Rad Engineers and/or management. Participates in training technicians with less expertise. Provides and/or coordinates inservicing to clinical staff on most medical imaging equipment

Must possess a strong knowledge of electronics as normally obtained through the completion of an Associates degree in electronics and minimum 5 years progressively more responsible work experience in all phases of medical imaging maintenance. Must posses a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy. Must be proficient at reading and analyzing schematic diagrams, including analog and digital circuits and possess a working knowledge of radiology, physics/theory, and electrical and electronic fundamentals, including DC and AC circuits, semiconductor theory, digital circuit theory and microprocessor theory. Must also be proficient in Windows PC and network operating systems, PC repair, and have fundamental knowledge in Local Area Network configuration and troubleshooting
