Overview: Banner Health, Arizona's largest Healthcare provider, has an opportunity for an I/T Development Discern Pharmacy Program Manager. This position will be a part of the Information Technology Team located at the Banner Health System Center in central Phoenix, Arizona. Medical Informatics focuses on the impact Banner Health's implementation of clinical information systems and clinical decision support for physicians, pharmacists, nurses and other clinicians has on patient care. We strive to provide exceptional customer support to our clinicians, look for creative and practical ways to utilize Banner's available technologies to their richest potential, and enable clinicians to deliver excellent patient care in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities: This position staffs, plans, directs, manages and controls all of the activities and functions of the discern rules expansion and development process. The incumbent is responsible for providing on-going managerial, technical, and motivational leadership to assure the consistent delivery of high quality information technology and communications services and products.

PharmacistRequires current pharmacy or eligibility for licensure in the State of Arizona, a degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy and demonstrated knowledge as is typically obtained in 5 years experience in healthcare. Working knowledge of the scope and use of the clinical applications as it relates to an organization's ability to provide customer support, publish information, provide service, deliver applications and increase market share.
