Jobing Description
Be familiar with the mission, vision, values and donor-centered philosophy of Interfaith Community Care.
Create great impressions by delivering service excellence while performing all related duties.
Greet each guest, visitor, volunteer or client in accordance with Interfaith Community Care service standards and displays “can do” attitude in providing needed services.
Be fully informed and familiar about Interfaith programs and services currently provided as well as projected program expansion components included in the capital campaign.
Be a role model for excellent internal and external customer service, understand the customer expectations and identify how you can continue to exceed their expectations.
Actively participate and promote the development and growth of teamwork.
Create, define, and produce accurately analyzed Raisers Edge database queries and reports.
Demonstrate success in managing complex databases, business analysis, configuration, data integrity, data analysis, and trouble shooting with ability to multi-task several projects consecutively.
Coordinate special projects involving all aspects of the Fund Development Department.
Responsible for ongoing Raisers Edge database maintenance tasks and integrity of the database.
Analytically identify new and savvy ways to capture data for producing optimal results.
Effectively organize work processes and tasks with attention to detail.
Possess good work initiative, willingness to work within a team, excellent time management and ability to produce results within assigned deadlines, with minimum supervision.
Backup to Database Project Coordinator for recording checks, credit cards, cash and non-cash donations, according to agency standards; including preparation of deposit documents/reports for the Accounting department.
Backup to Database Project Coordinator for posting contributions in Raisers Edge database, including inputting and processing of cash and non-cash donations.
Backup to Database Project Coordinator for processing donor acknowledgement letters.
Other duties as assigned.


Skills / Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Good interpersonal skills with good customer service orientation a must. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy are required. Prior experience with Raisers Edge preferred. Willingness to work as a team member and desire to learn fund development skills and concepts is a necessity. Demonstrate ability to maintain high level of confidentiality a must.

Proficient typing - 55-70 wpm, with a working knowledge of Raisers Edge, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook software programs a requirement. Experience with desktop publishing software is encouraged. Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate strong skills including prioritizing deadlines and the ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines in a changing environment. Must be willing to sign “Oath of Confidentiality, Non-compete Agreement as well as Code of Ethics.”

Capacity to positively interact with staff, professionals, donors and community leaders. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels of education, professionalism, and people with diverse backgrounds. Self motivated, able to meet deadlines and production goals with the minimum supervision. Capable of maintaining a high level of energy, integrity, credibility, enthusiasm, insight and confidentiality.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing these duties the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate.
