POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for assisting both the Accounting Manager and Financial Planning & Analysis Manager with month-end closing procedures for all Childhelp programs along with detailed financial modeling of all programs, profit and loss analysis of programs, and cash flow forecasting and planning.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Oversees month end closing procedures, including preparation and posting of journal entries
•Responsible for account reconciliations for various Balance Sheet Accounts
•Responsible for the preparation of cost/benefit analysis for programs, identification of break-even and maximum optimization points, and other complex financial/operation analysis
•Ensures proper accounting for transactional activities within all departmental areas, including proper allocation of shared costs
•Performs other related duties, as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
•CPA preferred
•5 years previous accounting experience
•Strong financial management skills and attention to detail
•Ability to handle multiple tasks
•Ability to effectively communicate with corporate and field management
•Excellent written and verbal skills
•Proficient in MAS 200 and FRX reporting packages, preferred
