Job: PORTFOLIO MANAGER - CONSULTANT

Meridian Bank has a temporary assignment for an independent contractor/consultant in our Remediation & Dispositions (R & D) Group. This individual will work closely with the Vice President and Manager of R & D to resolve payment performance issues and the collection of criticized and classified commercial and industrial loans. This position will restructure, negotiate, guide, oversee and assess the successful performance of engaged collection agencies as well as the liquidation of assets.

The assignment is estimated to be approximately 6 Months with the possibility of an extension if a longer period of time is necessary to complete the project.

Contractors responding must have prior proven experience in commercial and industrial loan workouts with a thorough knowledge of practices and techniques pertaining to problem loan management, including loan litigation and contract law. Requirements also include a thorough knowledge of loan documentation including legal documentation, collateral perfection, legal and regulatory requirements along with education and experience equivalent to a bachelors degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in collection and loan recovery.
