Cox Communications is one of the nation's largest broadband communications companies. As a Part-Time Outbound Call Center Sales Representative, you will work in a call center environment to sell Cox's products and services to both new and existing customers, looking for sales opportunities and ways to increase revenue on every call while ensuring a positive customer experience. You will expand existing customer relationships, where possible, and provide best in class service. This position offers unlimited earning potential with the opportunity to earn top dollars!

This position requires that you:
- Are able to present product information in an accurate manner while ensuring solid customer service for the customer at all times.
- Ability to meet personal and team quotas on a daily basis
- Utilizing sales and demonstration skills encourages and promotes upgrades of all broadband related services and products.
-Stresses value and utilize retention skills to overcome objections on all controllable downgrades/disconnects or customer vacillation after sale and prior to installation.
-Ability to adapt to different campaigns at a moment notice.
-Access and update customer accounts using our complex computerized system.
-Meet or exceed important performance standards including data entry accuracy, productivity, phone, schedule adherence and attendance.
-Assist with other duties and projects, as needed.
- Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule; including evenings and weekends.

Skills / Requirements
Candidates are required to have a minimum of one (1) year of sales experience plus knowledge of the cable television industry or equivalent experience.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience in a high-volume, call center sales environment. Strong interpersonal communication skills and a high degree of professionalism are required. The ability to perform accurate look-ups and data entry in a complex computer system is also essential. Previous experience working under performance standards in a quota environment is preferred. Those that are self-directed, have the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and enjoy a fast-paced, team-based environment usually do best in these roles. Lastly, all team members must be able to work one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).
