Job: Supplier Quality Engineer

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for our Phoenix, AZ facility to work with sub-tier suppliers on Supplier Assessment and Development activities.

Specifically, this individual will be responsible for the following:

All quality improvement issues related to vendors and suppliers of materials, products or services used in development or manufacturing;

Refining procedures and creating the necessary databases to track performance;

Representing Supply Chain Management in internal, external, and customer audits of the supplier management system;

Assessing potential new suppliers;

Working with suppliers to developer and improve the entire supply chain;

Issues related to purchasing, as necessary.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, with 5-7 years related experience in a manufacturing environment.

Professional Certification and knowledge of SPC, Six Sigma, and associated quality management concepts strongly desired.

Requires a proficiency in MS Office Programs and the ability to be well-organized.
