Job: Medical Insurance Billing & Coding Instructor

A new Phoenix area career college has an immediate opening for a highly qualified Instructor for our Medical Insurance Billing & Coding program. We are seeking a full-time instructor to join our team as we grow our school. Applicants should be motivated to share their knowledge, and be formally educated and trained.

* Associates Degree in Allied Health related field required
* Certifications: CBCS, CCA/CCS and/or CPC. Teaching experience is a definite plus
* Must have a minimum of five years of documented recent work experience in Medical Insurance Billing and Coding
* Must be highly competent in: HCPCS, ICD-9, CPT coding
* Must have knowledge and experience in health insurance billing guidelines, and practices
* Must also be knowledgeable in EHR, with CEHRS a plus
* Familiarity with Medisoft and SpringCharts software
* Professional appearance and excellent communication skills are a must
