Job: Java Developer

Noteworthy Medical Systems is seeking several individuals to be a key member of the software development organization, responsible for design, programming, and unit testing software for commercial software products. They will participate in small development teams using Agile processes (Scrum), and work with a variety of stakeholders including Product Management and QA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Coding of new web and java based state of the art software applications

Required skills and knowledge:
Experience in one or more of the following Development Tools:
* Eclipse: Development environment
* Flex Builder Plugin (only for GUI developers): Development environment for Flex
* Apache Maven: Dependency management
* HSQLDB: In-Memory database, used for unittests
* SVN: Source control
* Tomcat: WebServer

Java related skills:
* Knowledge of object oriented development
* Java language syntax knowledge
* Knowledge of a Java development environment (preferably Eclipse)
* Basic knowledge of application server functionality
* Ability to handle source code management system (SVN)
* Understanding of UML diagrams (at least UseCase, Class diagram, Activity diagram, Component diagram)

Education:
Bachelors degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field or similar experience.
