General Summary:
Under limited and direct supervision, Transaction Sales Representatives will call provided new leads, with a focus on building long term customer relationships and increasing program revenue. Customer base can include but is not limited to SMB (Small to Medium Business), LE (Large Enterprise) clients, government and educational institutions. Transaction sales personnel will document all contacts with existing customers and new leads. A high level of job performance must be achieved, which is measured through a variety of related sales metrics, such as the company's Platinum Club Sales Performance Policies. The quality and method of work must be completed in accordance with Direct Alliance Corporation's core values.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Will use the provided database to call new leads along with existing customers for the purpose of developing a buying relationship. All Inside Sales Specialists will be evaluated on their ability to meet sales quotas and revenue targets, prospecting and developing accounts and growing strategic relationships. Inside Sales Specialists will be tasked with increasing revenue within their assigned territory, initiating daily contact with their existing and potential clients via telephone and e-mail and introducing these clients to the best technology products and services from industry leading companies.
  • All contacts with existing and potential clients must be documented for the purpose of evaluating the database, along with passing qualified leads to field sales reps.
  • Job performance will be measured through a variety of related sales metrics, such as the company's Platinum Club sales performance policy. The quality and method of work must be completed in accordance with the company's core values.
  • Answer inbound calls from consumers or businesses in the small, medium and large business space.
  • Data entry of a variety of required profiling information for all customers who call in. Data entry will also be necessary to compile quotes, orders, and related reporting tools.
  • Attain minimal levels of sales revenue performance based on existing tenure-based goals.
  • Other related duties as assigned.





  • Skills / Requirements

    Job Specifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Exemplary communication skills to include written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Superior listening skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Self starter with ability to meet deadlines in a high stress environment.
  • Strong decision making abilities in an autonomous environment.
  • Detail and follow up oriented.
  • Type a minimum of 30 words per min.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel & MS Access.
  • Familiarity with basic use of voice mail and electronic mail systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of current company internal software programs (MAX, Unix, etc.) extremely helpful but not required.
  • 3 years of Hardware sales experience required.
  • Retail sales experience does not apply.
  • Proven sales track record.
