Jobing Description
Works effectively in interdisciplinary teams to develop Human-Centered solutions.
Leads teams to deliver non-conventional problem solving, user experience development, and visual interaction design.
Plans, manages, and executes design activities for software components, and the manner in which these components interact with each other.
Understands and exceeds design expectations.
Aggregates group ideas and vision into meticulously executed, beautifully rendered, and acutely focused specification documents, concept documents, and creative briefs.
Accepts and solves the most difficult design problems in the areas of Human-Science, and Interaction Desgin.
Continues to expand knowledge in domain of expertise.
Expertise is sought out regularly.
Displays a depth of knowledge across multiple technical and creative areas.
Mentors less experienced designers to include identified Most Effective performers.
Participates in development of design strategies and teaming strategies on multiple projects.
Strong advocate of continuous process improvement.
Leads large sized continuous process improvement efforts.
Researches and integrates design strategies, product specifications, and user expectations into product capabilities.
Develops and uses user personas and operational scenarios to test and validate design decisions.

Unlimited contact within the entire division.
Effectively bridges functional boundaries through listening to and comprehending co concerns of technical, design and management communities.

Skills / Requirements
BS Degree in interaction design, communication design, or similar. 15+ years of demonstrated results, or equivalent experience. Advanced Degree recommended.

Active in continuous learning.
Mentors multiple members of the team.
Lead technological & team efficiency problems.
Develops team solutions with little oversight.
Leads the exploration of business concepts in area of expertise.
Demonstrates Leadership as follows:
Applies existing technology to create new opportunities for the business & the team.
Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of the principles of experience design, information architecture, human science, and/or visual interaction design.
Demonstrates ingenuity in creating opportunity in the face of risk.
Breaks down barriers to progress & motivates junior members of the team to action.
