Job: Cafe Server (Counter Person)

We are looking for friendly, customer service oriented people with a passion for fitness and food to join our team. Must have flexible schedule. Those with BOH and FOH of the house experience are encouraged to apply.

Job Summary:

Responsible for welcoming and taking member & guest orders and delivery of food in a friendly, polite and efficient manner.

Summary Of Essential Job Functions:

Attract and retain members by consistently providing the highest excellent customer service
Assists guests with any service requests, ensuring the guest is the highest priority and outstanding service is provided which includes; serving in a prompt professional manner ensuring accuracy, quality of items and standards are met
Process & prepare food/drink orders for all members as required.
Responsible for cash and charge, balancing draw at shift open & close
Maintains clean work environment which includes; cleaning and stocking necessary
supplies during shift
Completing side duties before and at the end of the shift and other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills Required:

Current state of AZ Food Handlers Card
Six months of basic food/customer service experience
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Must be flexible to work varied shifts
Must be able to work cooperatively with others
Back of the house experience strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail, organizational and multi-tasking skills
Friendly & energetic with strong verbal communication skills
Must be reliable and punctual
CPR certification within 30 days of hire through Company training

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds
Perform duties that require reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, standing and moving throughout the cafe area
Knowledge/Skills Preferred:

Cafe or restaurant experience in high-end health club or country club/resort setting
