Job: Catalog Content Technician

Maintains the accuracy of the Electronic Product Catalog (EPC) by analyzing new
content for accuracy and completeness using quality assurance tools.Responsible for
analyzing reported application discrepancies provided by all users of the eCatalog
system. Take action by implementing modifications to existing content or add new
content to address reported discrepancy.
Communicate to the reporter of the
discrepancy the outcome of actions taken to address and or correct issue. Develop and
enhance value-add content in support of products within eCatalog database. Value
add content consist of digital assets, marketing copy, features and benefits
information, product level specifications, product cross references, cross sell content
and keyword search alias content. Interacts with trading partners to validate and
acquire updated content in support of enhancing coverage and issues identified in
original content set.Communicates results of data analysis to management. Works
with Product Category Managers on pending line changes/reviews to ensure eCatalog
content is accurately represented for the product line. Creates application level
eCatalog content in support of new product lines (Only if product line is not vendor
supported)

Associate/Bachelors Degree in business or computer science and/or equivalent work
experience.Three years store management level position with strong parts and
accessory background. Strong automotive product knowledge and understanding of
automotive theories and repair.Thorough knowledge of automotive parts cataloging or
parts counter experience required.
General understanding of automotive repair
procedures. Previous experience in digital image editing/manipulation. Thorough
understanding of computers, PC?s and PC applications i.e. MS Office applications
including MS SQL, Excel, Access, Word and Project. Excellent verbal and written
communication skills. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational
skills
