Shift: Evenings
Hours: 3-11
The staff member will function in a operating room RN patient care role 50% of the time and must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit's departmental policies and procedures. Functions as a role model, demonstrating clinical expertise in providing direct evidence-based care to patient populations. Practices effective communication methods with the Clinical Educator, leadership, co-workers, families, and customers. Serves as a policy and practice resource within the assigned unit. Implements in-service programs for clinical staff developed by others. Maintains flexibility in scheduling hours to meet clinical needs of all shifts.

Basic Education: Associate's Degree/Diploma from an accredited NLN/CCNE institution State licensure BLS Training Course C Basic Experience 2 years experience as an Intraoperative Nurse
