Job: Garden Court Line Cook

By joining our Garden Court kitchen team you will be a integral part in our tradition of excellence. As an Line Cook you will be responsible for checking the BEO’s, reservations and special events for the day. Communication needs to be kept open with the front of the house. Prep any functions for that day and check stations for the completion of the prep. Prepare all orders during breakfast, lunch or dinner hours. Make sure that all plates are consistent with menu cards and recipes. Check BEO’s and functions for that evening and help prep for those functions. Check for products needed in upcoming functions and order with supervisor. Check BEO’s and functions for the next day and complete any prep needed for those functions.

Qualified candidates must possess the following:
* Must have at least 3-5 years of experience as a Line Cook.
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
* Must be able to take orders well.
* Must work well with little supervision.
* Must have an understanding of kitchen operation.

Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

This is a very active position. It requires several hours of standing, moving and lifting heavy trays.
