Job: Network Administrator

Adelante HealthCare is a private, non-profit organization committed to providing care, regardless of the patients' ability to pay. We've been serving our community for 30 years and have an opportunity for an experienced Network Administrator.

Plans, develops, implements, upgrades, monitors, and improves all aspects of electronic network and telecommunications systems and connectivity. This position will perform network and telecommunications health checks and monitoring, security audits, as well as ensuring quality of service. In addition the Network Administrator provides 2nd-tier support for the Core Systems Administrator when needed. Works under the direct supervision of the Systems Manager.
Acquires, installs, configures and maintains local area network and wide area network equipment. Manages network security and network performance. Analyze changes in software and hardware issued by manufactured or vendor and determine impact on existing network, network design, operation standards and operating procedures. Participate on internal task teams, such as Long Range Planning, Short Range Planning. Represents the IT function at review meetings as requested. Participates in programs regarding technical support issues, product offerings. Analyzes future needs for acquisition.

Bachelor's degree in technology or related field and two years experience providing information technology services; or, Six years experience providing information technology services; or , any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Certificated from recognized programs that indicate mastery of tools and techniques relevant to the assignment may substitute for up to six months of experience.
Experience and understanding of network topologies and infrastructure in a multi-site WAN environment
Experience in Network security methods and firewalling
Experience with TCP/IP, WAN/LAN wired/wireless/endpoint network device configurations and routing
Experience with Cisco router and gateway configuration and troubleshooting
Demonstrated experience inter-networking systems and sites
Familiarity with multiple network routing protocols
Demonstrated experience in documenting systems, services, and topology using text and diagrams
Competency in dealing with people of various cultures
Demonstrated clear and effective systems, procedural, and user documentation creation and maintenance
Evidence of valid Arizona driver’s license
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Prioritization and multi-task skills are required
