This position is responsible for selling really cool stuff to new and existing SkyMall catalog customers. You must be an energetic, enthusiastic and helpful individual who can build trust and befriend our customers; making a strong personal connection with each caller while following a script and converting questions into sales.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Sales skills
a. Must be able to build a warm personal connection with our customers over the phone.
b. Must be competent with probing and learning about the needs of our customers
c. Must be skilled at building value in our thousands of cool products.
d. Must be confident UP SELLING and CROSS SELLING over the phone to customers who call us.
e. No order takers please.

2. Technical skills
a. Locate, read and understand a customer order.
b. Submit credits and order inquires including accurate and appropriate commenting.
c. Apply discounts, promotions and coupons to an order.
d. Computer knowledge and savvy.
e. Respond to customer services e-mail and web self serve order inquiries.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Typing tested at 20 WPM with 80 accuracy
• Computer literacy in windows environment
• Navigating Internet site via web browser software
