POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for creating and implementing programs and processes that ensure a consistent flow of good quality, qualified candidates for job openings with DriveTime. Sets overall recruiting strategy at a high level dealing with vendors and internal customers. Partners with hiring managers and Human Resource (HR) Managers on hard to fill positions as well as new location hiring processes.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Manage relationships with all recruiting vendors, including but not limited to Internet and print advertising agencies to ensure fair pricing for services rendered.

*Develop new recruiting programs and processes as necessary to improve and/or maintain candidate flow.

*Work closely with hiring managers to create job descriptions for newly created positions, and ensure that position requirements and deliverables are clear and agreed upon before recruiting begins.

*Create memorable employer brand image through the use of different media resources and other outlets.

*Work with HR Managers to overcome local significant staffing shortages that would otherwise impede the company's ability to meet profitability goals.

*Assess recruiting and selection skills of HR Managers and hiring managers and provide training as necessary to address performance gaps.

*Track, report and analyze staffing requirements, efficiency and cost effectiveness by position, location and other metrics as necessary to proactively address challenges and needs.

*Complete resume, application and/or phone screening processes to assist hiring manager and/or HR Manager in hiring process as necessary.

*Oversee the staffing processes for all new markets, working closely with operations management staff.

*College degree strongly preferred.
*1-3 years of recruiting and/or staffing experience required.
*Good understanding of recruiting and screening processes and approached.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
*Proven ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities effectively and efficiently.
*Proven ability to effectively solve conceptual or process problems and build relationships with internal and external customers.
*Up to 50% travel required at times.
