The Outpatient Imaging Center of St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center has an opportunity for a registered mammography technologist who can perform all aspects of screening and diagnostic mammography as well as assist in multi-modality biopsy procedures. Using state-of-the-art digital mammography equipment the mammography technologist is responsible for producing quality screening and diagnostic mammograms and assist in breast procedures under stereotactic, ultrasound and MRI guidance in the outpatient setting. The successful candidate is a technically superior, experienced, self-starter with attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellence in patient care.
A critical thinker, the mammography technologist works closely with radiologists and the women's imaging team to perform imaging studies that aid in the diagnosis of disease. Safely performs quality diagnostic procedures and provides appropriate level of patient care. Additionally, the successful candidate operates with minimal supervision, and produces and reviews images to ensure diagnostic quality. Requirements: Two years related experience with minimum 1 year as a mammography technologist with proven technical ability. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(ARRT) registered in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) AZ Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE)licensed CMT, CRT.
