The Outpatient Imaging Center of St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center has an opportunity for a pool registered MRI technologist who can perform all aspects of general and neuro imaging in all age groups. Using state-of-the-art equipment, the MRI technologist is responsible for producing quality diagnostic MR images and delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate is a technically superior, experienced, self-starter with attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
A critical thinker, the MR technologist works closely with radiologists and neuro-radiologists to perform MR imaging studies that aid in the diagnosis of disease. Safely performs quality diagnostic procedures and provides appropriate level of patient care. Additionally, the successful candidate performs MRI procedures with minimal supervision, requiring understanding of anatomy, physiology and magnetic resonance factors. Produces and reviews images to ensure diagnostic quality. Requirements: Two years related experience with minimum 1 year as a full-time MRI technologist with proven technical ability in all aspects of general and neuro MR imaging in all age groups. Certified in Medical Imaging Modality Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE) - MR Registered American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification. BLS certification. Excellent interpersonal, communication, patient care and customer service skills.
