Database Program Manager opportunity available at St Joseph's Hospital.
Thoracic / UNOS databases/registries position: Works in a team environment to design, build data fields, implement requirements for the Thoracic and UNOS databases/registries to support various thoracic and transplant reporting and research initiatives. Responsible for clinical database(s) management, training, and utilization. Maintains knowledge of STS registry definitions and attends national meeting as appropriate to ensure compliance with all database requirements. Possesses advanced knowledge of all phases of thoracic surgical care to abstract data to input and maintain data for submission. Maintains information on transplant patients for quality tracking and reporting. Maximizes the use of available data, for information tracking, trending and reporting, project facilitation and statistical analysis for clinical and basic research projects. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Educational Requirements: BS degree in nursing, business, healthcare administration, or equivalent healthcare experience Experience Requirements: Three years experience in healthcare nursing/quality and/or equivalent healthcare experience This job posting is no longer available on Jobing.com.
